Upon entering the Queen Room with Shared Bathroom, it was clear the carpets needed a good cleaning, with an overwhelming old smell throughout the common areas. Late check-in instructions fell flat when there was no drop box for paperwork, causing unnecessary confusion. The toilet being separate from the bathroom without toilet paper was awkward. During a stay of three nights, I noticed neglected cleanliness in the bedding, and the outside environment raised concerns with rodent sightings. All these details made for a somewhat uncomfortable stay.

The room was cozy, yet no staff around when we arrived was disappointing.

It was quiet, really allowed for a nice recharge. The location was great, with good restaurants just half a block away. Just a heads up, the character of the house does mean some quirks, but I totally loved that vibe.
